History:

The Everlasting Ministries Inc., Scholarship fund was established in 2023, in Memory of Mazie McFarlin Harrison and James Richard "Ricky" Harrison by Michael T. and Pamela H. Williams. Pam was the daughter and sister of Mrs. Mazie and Ricky, respectively.

Both Mrs. Mazie and Ricky were supporters of Everlasting Ministries Inc., financially, by volunteering their time, and as prayer warriors. They also supported various Christian non-profits and charities throughout their lifetime in the same manner.

Mrs. Mazie began instilling the importance of giving and serving others cheerfully and unselfishly, to Pam and Ricky at a young age. She often quoted, Matthew 7:12 KJV, " Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."

Kindness, honesty, having a good work ethic, humility, forgiveness, and compassion were important to Mrs. Mazie, and so was obtaining a good education. She instilled the above qualities and the love of learning in both Pam and Ricky at a young age as well. She adhered to and modeled
Colossians 3:12-17, throughout her lifetime.

Most importantly, Mrs. Mazie instilled the truth and love of Father God and Jesus into Pam and Ricky at a young age. They attended church regularly and she served cheerfully. She loved God and placed her complete faith and trust in Him. They all accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. She followed the instructions set forth in
Deuteronomy 6:5-9 diligently.

Ricky and Pam both eagerly followed the godly example of their mother's life, especially putting God first and sharing Jesus with others. She took this Scripture seriously, Proverbs 22:6 KJV, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Both Mrs. Mazie and Ricky chose to make a positive difference in the lives of others while they were alive and would encourage you to do the same. Pam desires to continue their legacy of love for others and joyful giving through this scholarship.
