With All Your Heart

Take this time to thank God for giving you the opportunity to search for Him, the Master of the universe. What a privilege. Ask Him to help you set aside the other things that are taking up your time and heart, and seek Him fully.
Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
God tells it like it is. He is honest and holy. He tells us we will find Him when we search for Him with all our heart. Have you ever searched for the Lord, maybe during a really bad time in your life when you couldn’t see a solution ahead? Or, on one of the best days of your life, you knew in your heart God was the One to thank, so you searched for Him? Perhaps, you wanted to get to know this God everyone was talking about, so you began searching.
A lot of us might seek God while we’re at church, a youth event, a Christian camp, or during a worship song, and then we go home, and forget about Him. Then we wonder why in the world He hasn’t changed our lives, or why we don’t feel any different inside. God doesn’t live at church, and we can’t just “leave Him there”. God says . . . seek Him with ALL your heart. It means seeking Him in all aspects of our lives. It means including Him no matter where we are or what we are doing. He dwells within us. He wants us to acknowledge His presence; when we go hang out with friends, when we’re watching a movie, riding in the car, or going for a walk to clear our minds. He wants us to be constantly conscious of His presence, to talk with Him, and listen for Him to speak, and seek His opinion about things in our lives: God, is this where You would go, what You would watch, what You would listen to; are these people that You would choose to be your best friends? He died for you! That’s how much He loves you. How much do you love Him? You will find Him when you search for Him with ALL your heart.
