Jesus, thank You for being my Knight in Shining Armor.
Help me to love You like You love me.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

It’s that time of year again. The stores start filling up with red and pink, candies, flowers, etc. For some people, this is a great holiday. For others, it is terrible. Nonetheless, Valentine’s Day is here. So, odds are you’ve thought a little bit about love. We will spend this week studying what true love looks like and what we as Christian ladies should be looking for when it comes to love.

There is something inside of every single one of us that longs to be loved. And not just the fake, showy love. We want real love that people write books, movies, and songs about. We want to be the girl who is receiving the unconditional love that people dream about, the kind of love that changes us. Well, I’ve got some good news. We have already been given that love. God has shown us that love. I know it sounds cheesy and you might have been expecting it, but it is such an important truth I do not want to overlook it.

God so loved the world, including you, that He gave His ONLY Son so that you would not have to die and spend eternity in Hell, but that you could spend forever with Him in eternity. He did everything He could do, and everything that had to be done, so that you could be His. He has loved you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), that goes on and on with no end. That’s the stuff girls dream of. It may look different than you expected, but your Knight in Shining Armor is the strongest, bravest, most loving Savior you could have ever dreamed of. Allow yourself to know and love Him.
